As a young mother with two small children, Sylvia was introduced to yoga a long time ago. It was love at first sight for her. She is deeply fascinated by how much support and relief yoga can offer a woman’s body during menstruation, pregnancy, and menopause. Throughout all stages of a woman’s life, yoga proves to be a true friend!
Sylvia has specialized in teaching yoga for women to positively influence the hormonal system. In 2008, she introduced Hormone Yoga to the Netherlands; at the time, she welcomed Dinah Rodrigues (the ‘foremother’ of Hormone Yoga) to her studio. Since then, Sylvia has been giving Hormone Yoga workshops in Amsterdam.
